The summer’s most riveting thriller ends with another faceoff between Alice (Emmy Rossum), the FBI’s most emotionally conflicted new agent, and Catherine (Lola Petticrew), the unstable serial killer whose sordid history of abuse and sex trafficking ignites an uneasy sense of empathy between cat and deadly mouse. With local police and the FBI swarming outside the estate of depraved billionaire Jay Easton (Peter McRobbie) and his enabling daughter Emma (Hope Davis), Catherine makes a surprising self-discovery as Alice breaks all the rules to try to achieve justice in this twisted case. Great news: Hulu recently renewed the series for a second season.

Everyone takes to the dance floor, including judges Shirley and Mark Ballas, chipper host Robert Irwin (with choreographer and co-host Witney Carson, his Season 34 partner) and guest judge Derek Hough for the opening number of the competition’s grand finale. A live audience (which has been sorely missed all season) observes the proceedings, with the final three—Selena Hamilton, AJ Pritchard and Adele Zaikman—performing two dances paired with stars from past DWTS seasons: Selena with Season 26 winner Adam Rippon, AJ with Season 31 champ Charli D’Amelio and Adele with Season 29 runner-up Nev Schulman. The first dance is in a style of their choice, followed by the ever-popular freestyle. The winner participates in next month’s 35th season (premiering September 15), with all of the pairings announced Wednesday on Good Morning America.

They’ll be waist deep in tea when the Season 8 cast of the hotter-than-ever dating show gathers for a tell-all reunion, hosted by Ariana Madix and face-of-Bravo Andy Cohen. Winners Bryce Alakai and Tiffany Tatum and other fan-favorite couples relive and rehash their relationship highs and lows in front of a live audience from Universal Studios in Hollywood. For many, their adventures in the world of reality TV are probably just beginning.

The true-crime series about tragedies in the sports world explores the 2007 shooting death of Washington Commanders star safety Sean Taylor, killed during a home invasion of his Palmetto Bay, Florida residence when he was just 24. Speculation at the time centered on the possibility of a crazed fan or even a more targeted hit, but the truth—a botched burglary by a gang of five thieves who thought the NFL player was away—was more ordinary though no less disturbing.

Odd behavior is the norm for the misfits on the Planet Express team in this long-running sci-fi animated comedy, but even so, Hermes’ belief that the spirit of his late father resides within a coffee tree plant has his colleagues and family shaking their heads. When the plant develops a seemingly fatal mocha blight, the crew humors him by traveling to a greenhouse planet where Dr. Zoidberg’s most unlikely girlfriend Maryann (“My taste is different than most”) is pursuing a botany degree. She doesn’t hold out much hope for Hermes’ potted pop, but maybe an odorific corpse plant, blooming for the first time in a century, could hold an answer.

- American Ninja Warrior (8/7c, NBC): The National Finals conclude, with one competitor named champion in the Season 18 finale. The top four women compete in a new bonus women’s tournament. Followed by a new episode of The Wall (10/9c).
- All American (8/7c, The CW): The burden of carrying the showcase falls on KJ’s (Nathaniel Logan McIntyre) shoulders.
- Beat Shazam (8/7c, Fox): Back-to-back episodes pit teams of best friends and three teams of college students against each other in the musical game show.
- It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (9/8c, FXX, FX, streaming on Hulu): On the way to a Jamiroquai concert, the gang’s RV runs out of gas, stranding them in an encampment of the unhoused where they encounter a surprising acquaintance.
- POV (10/9c, PBS): The documentary Arrest the Midwife depicts the legal battle after Elizabeth Catlin, a Certified Professional Midwife whose credential isn’t recognized by New York state, is arrested after providing reproductive care to families in rural Amish and Mennonite communities.
